Sunday collects information you provide directly, such as your email address, account details, and content you upload. On published message pages and group links we also record anonymous usage events — page views, clip plays, and shares — to show churches how their sermons are being studied. These events are tied to a random session identifier, not to your name or account.
Group Leaders
When a church creates a group link, it gives Sunday the email addresses of the people who lead that group. Sunday stores those addresses and uses them for one purpose: to email the leader their group’s link, and a notice when the church publishes a new message. Every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops Sunday emailing that address on behalf of that church; the group link itself keeps working. A church can remove a leader from its group settings, which deletes the address.
Questions Asked on a Group Link
Where a church has Ask enabled, we do not keep what anyone types. A question is sent to our AI providers only to answer it, and only through interfaces configured to opt out of provider training. What we retain is a short subject label for the question and the church, group, and message it was asked from, so a church can see what its groups are wrestling with. No account or name is attached; a group link has no sign-in.
How We Use Information
We use your information to operate the Service, provide and improve features, maintain security, and communicate important account or service updates.
Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your Choices
You can update your account information from within the Service. You can also stop using Sunday at any time.
Children’s Privacy
Sunday is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised policy.
